Projects

Researchers at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities carry out international and national research and study projects, the results of which contribute to the sustainable economic, social, cultural and other development of the region.

The projects are funded by ERASMUS+, NORDPLUS programmes. Some national research projects are funded by the Research Council of Lithuania.

During 2022, SHMF researchers worked on 31 project, of which 13 were started in 2022.

  • Promoting pluralist education in European universities to combat invisible discrimination against LGBTQ+ (Erasmus+ programme)
  • A model for enhancing the resilience of a seaport's organisational ecosystem based on managerial interventions SEA ECO RES (Research Council of Lithuania)
  • The impact of transnational life experiences of Lithuanian families on adulthood: a case study of adult children TransLiAd (Research Council of Lithuania)
  • Integration of IREX's Learn to Discern (L2D) methodology into teacher training programmes at Klaipėda University L2DKU (The Media Literacy in the Baltics Programme).
