Conference Topics

Participants are invited to prepare presentations and engage in discussions on the following topics:

  1. Translation and Localization: Challenges of translating texts in the digital age and the impact of Artificial Intelligence.
  2. Literary Insights: Research into classical and contemporary English literature.
  3. Linguistics and Language Change: Internet culture and the influence of social media on the English language.
  4. Intercultural Communication: English as a tool for solving global problems and uniting communities.
  5. Professional English in the Modern World: Linguistic features and innovations in the fields of Business, Law, Tourism, and the Maritime Industry.  

The conference will be held in person. Online participation option is available for students joining from outside Lithuania.
The official language of the conference is English.
Presentation Duration – 15 minutes (10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A)
Registration Deadline: April 1st. The conference program will be published and sent to speakers via email on April 5th.

 

Participation in the conference is free of charge. Certificates will be issued to all conference speakers, as well as to the teachers and lecturers who provided them with academic guidance.
