This visit marks a significant step in the expansion of international cooperation between institutions. The professor is delivering lectures to students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities on the following topics: "Agricultural Land Use in Sri Lanka," "Approaches to Sustainable Agriculture in Sri Lanka," "Horticulture Industry in Sri Lanka," and "Agritourism and Agrotourism Potentials in Sri Lanka." This is a great opportunity for students not only to expand their knowledge of sustainable agriculture's challenges and opportunities in Sri Lanka but also to gain valuable international academic experience. During his visit, Prof. Dr. Kapila Dissanayake familiarized himself with the history, study programs, academic, and research activities of Klaipėda University. He also met with the University’s Rector, representatives of the International Relations Office, and other members of the academic community. A strategic meeting was held to discuss the Erasmus+ KA171 program processes, challenges, and future opportunities for collaboration. We are delighted to strengthen our ties with international partners and look forward to this academic partnership opening up new opportunities for both students and faculty members!
